Online Classroom Etiquette
Welcome to our online classes. Make sure to observe proper classroom behavior and all school rules. Please note that online bullying of any kind will not be tolerated. Be sure to adhere to the following,
Before Class Starts
- Make sure to dress in school uniform. Wear your blazers on Monday for assembly.
- Sit up at a table as you would in class.
- Make sure that your environment is well lit and quiet.
- Have all the things that you will need for your lessons.
- Make sure that your computer/laptop/tablet is well charged.
- Once you log on make sure to mute your computer/laptop/phone.
- You may use the chat feature to ask a question.
- When called upon to answer, the teacher will unmute you.
- Once you have finished speaking let others know that you are done by saying, “That’s all” or “Thank You"
- You might want to use headphones for the best sounds.
- You might want to alert your family that you are on a live call to avoid interruption
- Most of all, remember that we are happy to see you, these rules help us enjoy our experience online.
